Be sure to wrap your glass in heavy duty foil so that when the glass breaks you don't
end up with a waterlogged broken cake that you have to rebake, like this:
The 'darker' cake pan had twice the amount of batter as the 'lighter' cake pan.
The lighter cake was cut in half and turned into a two-layer cake.
The 'extra' dark cake was used to complete the #3 - no waste!
